Though the college is just few years old, the campus dates back to 1890. In its journey of over 110 decades
it has gone through four transformations with just a school from starting.
Hindu-Mohammedan High School was first of these transformations and was the first school of Ambala
Cantt which foundation stone was laid by JH Parson, the then Cantonment Magistrate, in 1890.
His
Highness donated for the school building. Then Cantonment Board High School was started from this
building which is known by CB school. Then Government senior secondary school was come into being in
this building.
